For over 30 years, CURE Childhood Cancer Association has been providing emotional, educational, financial and social support for the area’s children and families who are fighting cancer. In recent years, due to improved rates of patient survival, CURE has been providing continued support for long-term survivors. The eighth annual CURE Kids Cancer Classic – on Monday June 28, 2010 at Irondequoit Country Club – will help enable CURE to continue its work for children and their families who face the medical challenge of a lifetime. “CURE Kids Cancer Classic represents a major step for CURE in its efforts to provide children and their families with support and advocacy as they fight this very difficult disease,” says Gary Siwicki, a member of CURE’s board of directors and chair of the golf tournament. “Thanks to our sponsors and supporters, and to the staff of Irondequoit Country Club, we’ve put together a first-class event that will raise much-needed funds for CURE.” NEW for 2010!!
